Biography

Dr. Schaefer-Cutillo has been providing excellent care for patients in Hematology and Medical Oncology for over 13 years. She started with a private practice in upstate New York for 11 years, and then most recently has been working at Northern Westchester Hospital, part of the prestigious Northwell Cancer Institute for the past 2 years. She has been an active participant in clinical research and in community outreach for the upstate New York area. 

During her training, she received Resident of the Year at Yale New Haven Hospital and numerous awards for excellence in research, publishing several scientific papers.

Her numerous accolades include NY state top doctor from 2015 to present and the “40 under 40 Mover and Shaker” award for Dutchess County Chamber of Commerce. She has been featured in Hudson Valley magazine and Westchester Magazine. Dr. Schaefer-Cutillo has served on the board of charitable organizations such as Miles of Hope for breast cancer and gives educational lectures to support groups and hospitals. At Northern Westchester Hospital, she served on numerous tumor boards, the Katz institute for Women’s health, and is the chairperson of the hospital transfusion committee.

Dr. Schaefer-Cutillo has dedicated her life to ensure that all her patients receive the highest quality care with a smile and compassion.

Outside of work, she enjoys exercise, cooking and spending time with her husband and two boys.
