Biography
Dr. Paschold is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist specializing in thoracic and head and neck cancers. He earned his medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He then completed his internal medicine residency, followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Paschold is actively involved in clinical research and has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, including work published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. He has also held several hospital leadership roles and is a graduate of the Medical Society of Virginia’s Claude Moore Leadership Institute.
Throughout his academic and professional career, Dr. Paschold has received numerous honors and distinctions, including recognition as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in 2025. He was selected for the Life Sciences Honors Program at North Carolina State University and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Paschold is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and maintains active membership in several leading professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Society of Integrative Oncology, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, and the Royal Society of Medicine.
