Biography
Valerie Martin is a licensed Physician Assistant. She received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Virginia in 2019. She went on to earn her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University in 2023.
Prior to joining Virginia Oncology Associates, Valerie worked for approximately one year in a hematology and oncology practice in Northern Virginia, providing care to patients both in the hospital and clinic settings. She is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring that patients and their families have the education they need to understand their medical conditions. Valerie is committed to continuing education and staying current with advances in cancer care.
Outside of work, Valerie enjoys creating art, exploring nature, playing soccer, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog and cat companions.
