Biography

Laura received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and worked thirteen years as a nurse in various capacities to include cardiology, progressive care, clinical research, and oncology. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Samford University and is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She also has earned the additional distinction of Oncology Certified Nurse by the Oncology Nursing Society. She is a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard, serving throughout the United States and deploying overseas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
 
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and reading.
