Biography
Kaycie is a board-certified Physician Assistant and graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Following graduation, she commissioned into the Virginia Army National Guard and began her career in Emergency Medicine. She served two overseas deployments to the Middle East during Operation Enduring Freedom with the 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, earning the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service.
Since then, Kaycie has provided Emergency and Acute Care medicine to remote and underserved areas, including Afghanistan, Alaska, and rural Colorado. Her broad clinical experience reflects a strong commitment to service in high-need environments.
After years of travel and deployment-based medicine, Kaycie has returned to her roots in the Hampton Roads area. She now serves patients in the C.A.R.E. Clinic at Virginia Oncology Associates in Norfolk, offering prompt, same-day or next-day care. With over a decade of acute care experience, she is dedicated to providing timely, high-quality medical support to patients navigating cancer and the wide range of associated complications, treatments, and side effects.
Outside of work, Kaycie enjoys camping, hiking, and off-road Jeeping. Once a year, she proudly supports her alma mater's team with a familiar rallying cry: Go Army, Beat Navy!
