Biography
Julia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Duke University where she graduated with honors and trained in Pulmonary Critical Care, Neurology, and Internal & Family Medicine. Julia's areas of specialization are Acute Care, Cardiology, Oncology, and Geriatrics. She has received multiple awards and honors for her dedication in caring for others such as being recognized as the Top Nurse Practitioner in Virginia Beach, Worldwide Leader in Healthcare, and the Navy Commendation medal.
Outside of medicine, Julie lives in Virginia Beach and has two grown children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, watching college football, and driving exotic cars.
