Biography
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked for 11 years in hospital-based oncology/hematology and critical care. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has earned the additional distinction of Oncology Certified Nurse by the Oncology Nursing Society.
Jennifer joined Virginia Oncology Associates in 2018. She works alongside Dr. Tian in the Newport News and Hampton offices delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with a variety of hematological and oncological conditions. In her ongoing relationships with patients, she focuses on patient education and empowerment, helping them to take control of their health.
A native of Hampton Roads, Jennifer grew up in Portsmouth. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three children. Her interests include running, Broadway musicals, and live music.
