Biography
Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology from Old Dominion University in 2015 and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2026. He brings over a decade of specialized experience in diagnostic and molecular imaging to Virginia Oncology Associates, where he serves as the practice's first Radiation Oncology Advanced Practice Provider.
Andrew built his career in diagnostic radiology roles across Hampton Roads, including positions in the PET/CT department at Sentara Brock Cancer Center and the Nuclear Medicine department at Sentara CarePlex Hospital. Through these roles, he developed extensive expertise in oncologic imaging, interventional radiology, and multidisciplinary cancer care. Alongside his clinical work, he serves as a mentor and instructor for healthcare students.
His professional interests include radiopharmaceutical therapies (theranostics), low-dose radiation therapy (LDRT) for osteoarthritis, and diagnostic radiology. In his relationships with patients, he focuses on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to help them navigate their treatment journey with confidence.
A native of Hampton Roads and a Yorktown resident since 2001, Andrew enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Emily, their three cats, and their family and friends. His interests include boating, camping, bowling, gymnastics, and golf.
