Biography

Amanda is a dedicated nurse practitioner with a diverse background in primary care, acute care, and specialty medicine. Originally from Auburn, Alabama, she attended Auburn University before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University.

Amanda began her nursing career in the Atlanta metropolitan area, where she worked as a bedside nurse for several years, gaining valuable experience caring for patients across a variety of clinical settings. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice from Georgia State University.

After relocating to Hampton Roads, Amanda practiced in primary care before transitioning to neurosurgery. To further expand her expertise in caring for complex patients, she completed a post-master's Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program. Amanda is passionate about building meaningful relationships with patients and providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's needs.

As a member of the Virginia Oncology Associates team, Amanda is committed to supporting patients and their families throughout their cancer journey, helping them navigate treatment with confidence, education, and personalized care.
