Dr. Tan attended Medical School at the University
of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. He did one
year of internship at Interfaith Medical Center
located in Brooklyn, New York. He then went on
the finish his residency in Internal Medicine
at New York Medical College – Metropolitan
Hospital, where he also served as the Chief Resident.
He finished his fellowship in Hematology-Oncology
at Montefiore Medical Center, also in New York.
He practiced in New Jersey for two years before
moving to Virginia. Dr. Tan is board certified
in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
