APPOINTMENT REMINDERS
Please remember to bring your insurance cards.
We participate with most major insurance carriers. As a courtesy, claims will be filed for you. In order to ensure reimbursement, your insurance information must be kept current. Please be sure to notify us if you have any change in coverage or insurance company.

Prescription drugs can only be filled during regular business hours. This restriction is for your protection. We must be able to have access to your most up-to-date and complete medical records to ensure you receive appropriate medications and approvals from your physician.

If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, please call at least one day ahead to reschedule. Because your treatment schedule is important to your care, call as soon as you know you will need to reschedule. If you need to reach a physician after hours, please call your regular treatment facility for the physician on call.

All fees incurred in our offices are due and payable at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. You will receive monthly statements showing you an itemization of charges and payments made by you or your insurance company. If you have questions regarding your billing, do not hesitate to contact our billing office at (757) 213-5700 or toll-free 1 (800) 998-3450.

Virginia Oncology Associates operates in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA). HIPAA requires an increase in security of patients’ health information. Although inconvenient at times, the changes are for the protection of our patients.
