Dr. Conkling is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Dartmouth College, as well as a Cum Laude graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship in Hematology Oncology at Duke University Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. Dr. Conkling is involved in Hematology Oncology research and currently serves as the coordinator for the Clinical Oncology Research Program at Sentara Hospitals in Norfolk, Virginia. He has written a number of publications, is a consulting associate for the Department of Medicine at Duke University, as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
