Dr. Alexander attended the University of Virginia
Medical School. He completed a residency in Internal
Medicine and fellowship in Hematology and Oncology
at the University of Virginia. While at the University,
Dr. Alexander also specialized in bleeding and
coagulation disorders. Locally, he now serves
on the DVT Committee. Dr. Alexander is board certified
in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
He is an associate professor of Medicine at Eastern
Virginia Medical School. Dr. Alexander is a member
of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and
the American Society of Hematology.
