Gynecologic Oncology is a field of medical specialization that plans and directs the study and treatment of malignancies arising in the female reproductive tract.

These cancers include malignancies in the ovaries, endometrium, cervix, vulva and vagina. The cancer in these reproductive sites has significant differences in origin, prevention, detection, treatment and likelihood of cure.
